Vintage Hand Carved teak Oriental Hawk Falcon Eagle Statue Figure glass eyes

  

This listing is for a beautiful Carved teak wood Oriental Statue of a Hawk, Falcon, or Eagle. This carving is finely detailed and has glass eyes.

It stands 11 1/2" tall, just over 4" deep and 4 wide. The only flaw I see is a natural crack or split in the wood that runs from the base up to the bottom of bird between the legs. With no markings of any kind on this I cannot tell if it is Japanese or Chinese. But definitely Asian in origin.
