Excellent Vintage Hand Carved Wooden American Bald Eagle Plaque. Ffered is a vintage hand carved. Patriotic American eagle depicted as perched on draped arrows behind the American Great Seal. It is probably early 1900's. The details of the carving indicate the Maine craftsman was very experienced with his carving skill.

The 22 carving was made from one. Solid block of pine and is in the style of a John Bellamy Portsmouth Eagle. While I can not attribute this one to Bellamy, it is nevertheless a very nice example of a fine carved eagle with the official American Seal shield from the same part of the country as a Bellamy. Plaque is ready to hang with the original hook-eye screwed into the back.
