Rare Mid-Century Italian Hand Carved Alabaster Eagle Globe Lamp Mint Condition

  
This is an extremely rare, all original, vintage 1950's, Italian Hand Carved Alabaster Eagle Globe Lamp. The eagle is hand carved marble.

This lamp is absolutely stunning and gets noticed and appreciated in any room. It's a collector's dream come true: in mint condition with zero flaws, no chips, scratches, breaks, repairs, or blemishes of any kind. Even the top half of the globe lamp (detaches) is intact, never broken, which is incredibly rare.

This Eagle Globe Lamp is unlike any other you are likely to see. What's different is the Eagle is perched on a rock as if looking down in search of prey.

Most all other Eagle Globe Lamps have the bird in different postures. This one is very special. In researching it, I couldn't find another one exactly like it.

The provenance is on the bottom of the base. Hand carved by Bacci V&C of Italy. The electric cord is original and works perfectly too, very cool in and of itself. Please see the photos to see how spectacular this collectors' lamp is from top to bottom.
