Large EAGLE wall art carving, designed, hand carved and hand painted by Neil Baker, a member of a large family of First Nations artists from the Coast Salish (Squamish) First Nations, originating from Vancouver Island. Beautiful red cedar - so very detailed, clean cut-out, highest quality craftsmanship - the color chosen is really vibrant and beautiful. Neil put a lot of work into his pieces - the carving is truly excellent, made and prepared for wall hanging, hanger attached, carved in front, signed at the back. Measurements: 25" x 6" x 1/2. The artist: Neil Baker is a band member of the Squamish First Nation Reserve in British Columbia.

He is from the Coast Salish blood line. Neil is a self taught carver and artist. Neil has learned a great deal about his culture by listening to his elders, then applying that knowledge to the carvings he creates.

Neil's signature carving is the famous "School of Salmon". He honors his culture and his Nation by creating works of art that pay respect to the creatures of the earth.
