Every time I visit the artist, he surprises with new designs and it's always such a pleasure to chat with him about them. And is always happy to share stories and history. Brian Bob is a member of the Nuu-chah-nulth (Nootka) First Nation, originating from. His Indian name is Qquyutsapool which means "Policer of the wolves".
Brian's mother is Fran Touchie who practiced whaling from traditional dugout cedar canoes, his father was Wilson Bob. Was the hereditary chief of the Snaw-naw-as Nation, originating from. Brian also has Coast Salish roots through heritage.
