Hand carved by a well known artist in North Carolina area. It is in very good condition. There is an approximate 2 inch long superficial crack about 1/16 inch deep on the tail. See close up picture for details.

Walter Furr has done wood work for many years for individuals. The Salisbury Post states that he has done work for companies such as Bassett and Broyhill.
