This beautiful bird was hand carved by an Brazilian artist in Minas Gerais State, in Brazil. It's body and wings were carved on serpentine stone. Its tail and head were carved on dolomite stone.
It perches on an Brazilian tourmaline stone matrix. 11" x 11.5" (at the widest point - opened wings). Tourmaline Base: 6" high x 5" wide x 3.25 deep. Bird and base are approx. 17 inches high x 11.5 (at the widest point - opened wings). The combined weigh is 11.4 lbs. We also have the eagle in black and white perched in different stone base.
