Eagle in Mid-Flight hand-carved from basswood Aboriginal Art, West Coast

  

Hand-carved from basswood, this striking piece features haunting eyes adorned with polished abalone shell. Created by Stone Bear in 2022, it beautifully captures the grace and power of the eagle in flight. Stone Bear is the artistic name of Todd Christopher Elliot.

His masterpieces are collected and showcased by a broader clientele, 30 yearsin the making, including Royal Canadian Navy Esquimalt as well politicians Jody Wilson-Raybould, Paul Martin. Born on the west coast, Stone Bear's bloodline goes back to the Algonquin Territory of Sioux St. He is based in the Canadian West Coast.
