Lovely vintage signed hand carved Northwest Coast Native American sterling silver eagle motif necklace, circa 1980. Signed on the reverse with the maker's initials for Francis Dick from the Kwakiutl peoples from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Measures approximately 19 long from end to end and weighs 14.5 grams. The pendant portion measures approximately 3 3/4" x 1 3/4" in size.
The eagle is a symbol of strength, prestige and authority. Has typical signs of use or wear, otherwise in good condition.
