51 Huge Fighting EAGLE Stone Bird Figurine Hand Carved in Brazil on Amethyst Base. This beautiful hand carved eagle was sculpted in"orange calcite", a natural Brazilian gemstone, with its beak carved on calcite.

Even though there is no signature, the artist is from the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It's body was carved in one single piece except for the it's wings, tail, and beak. The bird perches on an Brazilian deep purple and sparkling amethyst stone with feet fashioned of nickel plated brass. It can be removed from the its base. Measurements: From the bottom of base to top of opened wings it measures approximately 51 high at it's widest point (wings). Weight: 16.85 lbs, combined pieces (eagle and base) Eagle (orange calcita): approx. 31 long from foot to wing next to its body X 19 inches wide from the tip of opened each wing to wing, and 11 inches long from tail to beak.
