Chinese Writing Stone from BC, Hand Carved, Worlds BEST Quality, 3 1/2 INCH EAGLE. BC has outlawed collecting this stone as of mid 1995.
I have never found this material in such beautiful pieces. I do not know who carved them, but their skill is carved in stone to last for eternity.. This was the source of the worlds highest quality writing stone. Hardness of 7.0 and has NO UNDER-CUTTING. The finish polish is mirror like.
